Yes, we can and will help make sure you have safe housing. As a licensed adoption agency in Texas, Adoption Advocates is able to provide financial assistance for rent or housing costs during your pregnancy and up to 6 weeks afterwards. When you meet with an adoption specialist, you’ll be able to discuss your living situation and she can determine the best way to help.

Do you have maternity housing?

No, we do not have maternity housing facilities. While some agencies offer dorm-style living with other expectant mothers, Adoption Advocates does not. That type of living arrangement can separate you from your partner, friends and family, and we want you to stay connected. You are going to need their support, whether or not you choose adoption, so we want you to keep those relationships strong.

Where will I live?

Where you’ll live depends on your situation. If you currently have a place, but are struggling to pay rent, we can help pay your monthly rent. If you are homeless, we can provide a short-term living situation like an AirBnB or extended stay hotel. We can also help you connect with local resources like Foundation Communities for longer-term help.
